Itinerary for Alipurduar – Phuentsholing – Thimphu – Dochula Pass – Punakha – Phobjikha – Paro – Chele La Pass – Phuentsholing – Alipurduar

Bhutan, Corners of Earth, Paro, Tiger's Nest Monastery

Day 01: Pick up from Alipurduar and transfer to Phuentsholing.

Meet and greet on arrival time. After arrival, guests will be shuttled to Phuentsholing. Necessary permits to travel in Bhutan shall be processed from here. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Day 02: Phuentsholing to Thimphu.

In the morning, we will take you to Kharbandi Gompa and Norgay Crocodile Breeding Farm. After that, we will leave for Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The journey will offer some spectacular mountain views and beautiful landscapes of peaceful countryside. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 03: Thimphu sightseeing and processing permit for travelling in Punakha and Phobjikha (Gangtey).

In the morning, proceed to make permit for Dochula, Punakha and Phobjikha (Gangtey)  for next  morning. After obtaining the necessary permits, we will take you for the local sightseeing tour of Thimphu. The tour shall include BBS Tower, SAARC Building (From Out Side View), National Library, Handicraft Emporium, Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point, Folk Heritage Museum. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 04: Thimphu to Dochula Pass and Punakha.

In the morning, we will drive to Dochula pass (3,080m) that offers enchanting views of Bhutan. Later, we will drive to Punakha. In Punakha, we will take you to Punakha Dzong which is built strategically at the junction of Pho Chu and Mo Chu river. You will also see the Suspension Bridge and Chimi Monastery. Overnight stay at a hotel in Punakha.

Day 05: Punakha to Phobjikha (Gangtey), sightseeing and back to Punakha.

In the morning, drive to Phobjikha valley. It is one of the popular places in Bhutan known for migratory birds that come from the Tibetan Plateau during the winter months. The elegant and shy birds can be observed from early November to the end of March. Overlooking the Phobjikha valley is the Gangtey Goenpa. This is an old monastery whose establishment dates back to the 17th century. Overnight stay at Punakha.

Day 06: Punakha to Paro.

In the morning, drive to Paro. Overnight stay at a hotel in Paro.

Day 07: Local sightseeing of Paro.

In the morning, we will take you for a local sightseeing which will include Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, Paro International Airport, National Museum and Tiger Nest View. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 08: Paro to Chele La Pass.

In the morning, we will take you to the Chele La Pass. We will conduct a local sightseeing and after that, we will take you back to Paro. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 09: Paro to Phuentsholing.

In the morning, we start for Phuentsholing. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Day 10: Phuentsholing to Alipurduar. Here your tour will end and you will take back home the memorable experiences of your Bhutan tour.
