Itinerary for Ranthambore and Corbett Tour
(Jaipur – Ranthambore National Park – Agra – Corbett National Park – Delhi)
Day 1: Arrival and Jaipur following by sightseeing of the city.
After your arrival at Jaipur airport/railway station, a representative from Corners of Earth shall meet you and take you to your hotel. Upon completion of hotel check-in formalities, we shall head for a city tour of Jaipur city. Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan is mostly known to the travellers by the name “Pink City of India”. We will take you to the Sisodiya Rani Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Jal Mahal, Maharaja’s City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, etc. We will also visit Amer Fort which remained an ancient capital of the state. Optionally, you can go take an elephant ride to reach the entrance of the fort. We will then visit Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 2: Jaipur to Ranthambore.
After completing breakfast, we shall start our journey for Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore National Park is located at a distance of 130 km from Jaipur in the Southeastern part of Rajasthan. With an area of 392 km², the park is amongst the largest in North India. Ranthambore National Park, best known for its tigers is the best place in India to spot them in their natural jungle habitat. After you complete the check-in process of your lodge, we will proceed for a wildlife safari into the Ranthambore National Park. Overnight stay at a lodge in Ranthambore National Park.
Day 3: Wildlife Safari at Ranthambore National Park.
The entire day is reserved for wildlife safari at Ranthambore National Park. If you are lucky, you can even spot tigers during your jungle safari time. Overnight stay at a lodge in Ranthambore National Park.
Day 4: Ranthambore to Agra.
After breakfast, we will start our journey for Agra. Enroute we will stop at Fatehpur Sikri which was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 5: Agra to Corbett.
After breakfast, we will proceed for a sightseeing tour of the Agra City. The tour shall include a visit to the Taj Mahal, a monument which is regarded as one of the seven wonders of the world. Then we will take you to the Agra Fort. After the day’s trip, we will drop you at your hotel in Agra. At night after dinner, we will drop you at the Agra railway station from where you will board a train for your overnight journey to Lal Kuan.
Day 6: Lal Kuan Railway Station to Corbett.
Upon your arrival at the Lal Kuan Railway Station, we will drive you to the Corbett National Park, the oldest National Park in India. After completing all the check-in formalities of your jungle lodge, we will take you out for a jungle safari. Overnight stay at Corbett National Park.
Day 7: Jungle Safari at the Corbett National Park.
After breakfast, we will go out for a jeep safari. We will drive towards Dhikala Forest, an important place in the Corbett National Park. After reaching Dhikala Forest, we will transfer you to your jungle lodge here. During the afternoon after lunch, you may avail an elephant safari to explore the jungle. Overnight stay at Dhikala Forest of Corbett National Park.
Day 8: Corbett National Park to Delhi.
Early in the morning, we will go out for a jeep safari around the jungles of the national park. After the safari, we will drop you back at your lodge for having breakfast. Post breakfast, we shall drive to Delhi and will drop you at your desired location in Delhi for your onward journey. Over here, your memorable trip to the North Indian jungles shall end.
